Tina (she/her) has been one of the program instructors at the High Park Nature Centre since 2019. She teaches weekly programs for children and adults to connect people with nature in High Park. Programs include clubs like Fox & Kits where young children and caregivers explore the ecosystems of High Park together, as well as stewardship programs that give adults a chance to deepen their relationship with the surrounding nature and engage with High Park. She also runs the Nature Book Club, Weedy Wednesdays (our summer savannah gardening program) and loves to support events at the Nature Centre. Tina has a Master of Education in Environmental Education and is grateful to work in High Park throughout the seasons and learn from the park every day.

Experiencing Collaborative Care in Toronto’s High Park
Contribute to High Park’s rich landscape through a hands-on planting session and tours that will unearth how Indigenous worldviews influence stewardship and restoration practices. A social gathering and series of (literal) fireside chats will encourage participants to connect with and learn from other large urban park leaders as they share their unique approaches to common challenges.
