Where is the conference taking place?
The 2023 Park People Conference will take place in Toronto at Canoe Landing Community Centre with exciting tours and receptions in some of Toronto’s most inspiring parks and public spaces including Toronto Island and the Bentway.
How do I get to Toronto and where can I stay?
Park People is providing conference registrants with preferential rates at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Toronto. More information on those preferred rates is available here.
Discount codes are also available for ticket purchases with VIA Rail and WestJet. Travel discount codes are available here.
Do I need to register for the entire conference, or can I register to attend for one day or one session?
Because of travel and planning requirements, there is not an option to pay by the day or session.
Are conference sessions available in French?
All of the Keynote presentations will feature French interpretation as well as some of the concurrent sessions, though tours and receptions will all be conducted in English.
What if I register but need to cancel?
If you must cancel your registration, you will be refunded the amount of a 20% handling fee per registration, provided that written notice of cancellation is received by May 15, 2023.
No refunds will be granted after May 15th, 2023, but we will accept a substitute attendee if we receive a written note from the registered attendee stating their intention to transfer registration to a named individual.
Requests for cancellations, substitutions, or refunds must be received in writing and submitted to info@lomaagency.com.
