Frances Foster, born in Montreal, is a practicing artist-painter as well as an art caregiver for those suffering from dementia and Alzheimer's disease. A longtime resident of Marconi-Alexandra, a neighbourhood of Montreal, she is also co-founder of Les AmiEs du Parc des Gorilles – Friends of Gorilla Park. She has been advocating for ten years to replant a lost green space and forest back in the heart of her community.
